SAG PREZ IS A DEGREE DUMMER THAN GOV. SARAH PALIN

Los Angeles, California (Dec. 18, 2008)—Nominations for the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® for outstanding performances in 2008 in five film and eight primetime television categories and for the SAG honors for film and television stunt ensembles were announced this morning in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center’s Silver Screen Theater in West Hollywood.

Waking up early to read cue cards was Angela Bassett, who is clocking major dollars on NBC”s “ER”(last season but what a sweet ride for the creators) and the MASSIVE TALENT Eric McCormack who went “gay for pay,” on the uber gay series “Will & Grace.”

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role

Note, Yadacity called SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE way before it caught fire in the U.S.
How slow are Americans when it comes to movies, way slow, like turtles move faster!!!!!

JOSH BROLIN - "MILK" (Focus Features)
- Close one but not going to ya!

ROBERT DOWNEY, JR. - "TROPIC THUNDER" (Paramount Pictures)
 - We love a come back and what a come back --- this is major talent and Yadacity is glad that “the boggie man of drugs” cannot have him!

PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN - - "DOUBT" (Miramax Films)
. NO. PSH has many more roles to come. He is what Yadacity feels is perfection: unattractive and wonderfully gifted. He breaks all “blah-blah-blah) stereotypes and rides in on ability. If Audacity had a poster person, it would be PSH!

HEATH LEDGER - NO comment. GOD bless the dead.

DEV PATEL - "SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE" (Fox Searchlight Pictures)
. There are many gods & goddess in the Hindi fabric (and before you make judgment, it this one of the oldest and most respected group of folks walking on this earth) and I would start the prayer line. It will stop at the red carpet for the ’09 Oscars but place a “fire” under your agent and managers “collective asses” to get you a MAJOR SERIES (like yesterday) and cool, indie scripts. I am not kidding. Yadacaity has spoken1

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role

AMY ADAMS - "DOUBT" (Miramax Flms)
 - That AMY can act! She can act. She has lots of future awards, so Yada City says, not for ’09 with SAG.

PENÉLOPE CRUZ - "VICKY CRISTINA BARCELONA" (The Weinstein Company)
- No but she should get it!

VIOLA DAVIS / Mrs. Miller – "DOUBT" (Miramax Films)
- This is a yadacity lock!

TARAJI P. HENSON- "THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON" (Paramount Pictures)
- Gosh, she is good in this, note, she is good!!!!!!

KATE WINSLET - "THE READER" (The Weinstein Company). No.

Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture

DOUBT (Miramax)
FROST/NIXON (Universal Pictures)
 - Brilliant!
MILK (Focus Features)
- Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen know how to make a movie, and TV show!!!!
SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE (Fox Searchlight Pictures)
 - This should be a lock but the U.S. is racist and it should win but, it will not, sadly!
THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON (Paramount Pictures)
 - Yup, get the cue cards ready! Brad in old folks make up and major green screen. Brad is aware, he knows it should be SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE but he can’t share it outside of the pillow!
