scene? London, of course, but yadacity plays around the world.

London gents Sav Akyuz & Lajaune Lincoln have an amazing film comming out this year... which I just happen to star in.

Q: On TV, across the pond, what and why?

I don't watch TV but I do love the show fonejacker, it's hilarious. There's one guy who prank-calls people doing the most amazing impressions.

Q: Food in London is getting better and better --- your comfort food
when you need a hug? The joint of choice and the dish.

London has the best food in the world. Without a doubt Nobu Berkley, I always have the black cod and rock shrimp tempura followed by a bento box and they do the most amazing cocktails called Lilly Rose... it's heaven in a glass.

Q: How cold is it, today, in London town.

Right now it's 7 degrees but the snow has gone... which I'm a little bit sad about.

A: There are not many 24 hour Late night takeaways in LA. I'm a night owl, I
like to eat late.

A: Charcoal grill, in Willsden Green, a 24 hour joint with great service and my favourite chicken steak.

This week saw a spectacular 29th Annual Brit Awards here in London town. Hosted by Kylie Minogue, the show was an extravaganza with performances by Lady GaGa, Girls Aloud, Coldplay & U2. Duffy cleaned up with British Female Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act & British Album while International Solo Artist went to Katy Perry and Kanye West respectively.

The US was definitely representing with the most outrageous wardrobe choices of the night and poor Katy Perry was apparently violently ill backstage just seconds after collecting her award... seems like nerves get to the best of them!

You may have paid one or more utility bills that included an assessment of the Los Angeles County Utility User Tax and may be a Class Member based upon Utility User Tax payments that you made with payment of a utility bill(s).

What is the lawsuit about?
In this lawsuit, the Plaintiffs alleged that the Utility User Tax, Los Angeles County Code Chapter 4.62, is an illegal tax because of alleged violations of Proposition 62, Government Code sections 53720 to 53730, Proposition 13, California Constitution Article XIII, and state and federal Equal Protection rights. The County of Los Angeles denied the allegations in the lawsuit.

What is a class action?
In a class action lawsuit, one or more people called “Named Plaintiffs” or “Class Representatives” (in this case, Joe Oronoz, Larry Pitts, and Craig and Cheryl Kaufman) sue on behalf of other people who have similar claims. The people with similar claims together are a “Class” and the individuals are called “Class Members.” The County of Los Angeles is called the Defendant. The Court decides whether the proposed Settlement is fair, adequate and reasonable for everyone in the Class – except for those people who choose to exclude themselves from the Class.

Why is there a settlement?
The Court did not decide in favor of Plaintiffs or Defendants. The Plaintiffs thought they would have won monetary compensation and injunctive relief if there was a trial, and Defendants thought that Plaintiffs would have won nothing.
But there was no trial. Instead, both sides agreed to the Settlement. That way, they avoided the cost of a trial, and the Class Members may get compensation. The Class Representatives and the lawyers for the Class think the Settlement is best for all Class Members.

Who is included in the Settlement?
The Court has defined the Class as all individuals who paid the Los Angeles County Utility User Tax at any time between February 16, 2004 and November 4, 2008.

The photographer and writer should walk proud: it is major good work!

However, yadacity must weigh in on this: shoes – why should women wear heels when they are dancing? That is just a mean and unnecessary accident waiting to happen. It’s like being in the Bush years (Oh’Lord’-why?).

A: Unfortunately the Italian in me will eat way too much. So, I guess the real question should be, 'On Oscar night, what WON'T me and my pals be eating.'

Health update: the baby is perfectly healthy, but the mother did not have any milk and the bady was was very hungry!-

It was quoted that Salma Hayek said “I was weaning my daughter Valentina, but I still had a lot of milk, so I breast-fed the baby." Hayek explained.
