To place a fine point on the matter, if the American Public knew the amount of money that actors (not mega stars, just actors) earned to step in front of a camera and then to get another round of checks, called residuals, sans any new work, the American public would never stop throwing up!

The current SAG Prez is NOT A BRIGHT MAN. He wants to vote to “strike.” Who does this possible strke hurt the most? Yadacity will tell you: it will hurt the HARD WORKING women and men who HELP to keep this industry going forward – some of those departments would include catering, make-up, transportation, etc.

Ballots for the 2009 Oscars in the Mail!

OSCAR 2009 BALLOTS ARE IN THE MAIL NOW

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences mailed today 5,810 nomination ballots for the 2009 Academy Awards.

I hope of those 5,810 they all vote against a SAG strike and agree the current Prez needs a time out!

Note, the completed ballots must be returned to PricewaterhouseCoopers by 5 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2009. The Ballots received after the deadline will not be counted.

Nominations will be announced on Thursday, January 22, 2009.

ABC has the honor of broadcasting the 2009 Oscar ceremony on Sunday, February 22, 2009.

SAG PREZ has divisions

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Citing division among its membership, the Screen Actors Guild delayed a vote Monday that would authorize the union to call a strike and bring the entertainment business to a halt.

Great news, now, please can we all work to get the current Prez to step down? How about asking anyone to buy him a ticket anywhere but Hollywood or New York?

Can we also arrange for him “not to have cell phone service?” PLEASE stop this man.

SAG announced it would delay sending out the ballots until Jan. 14 at the earliest, after the union's national board holds an emergency meeting.

Doug Allen, SAG's national executive director, said the union is split on whether to cast ballots. He said 2,524 members endorse the vote and 1,373 members are opposed, including A-list actors Pierce Brosnan and Cameron Diaz.

"This division does not help our effort to get an agreement ... that our members will ratify," Allen wrote in a letter to union members.

To call a possible strike "irresponsible" is being kind. It is, in yadacity's opinion, a criminal act to threaten a strike while the industry is in an economic downturn.

You have to power to save lives. Yes, not striking is that important and the prez and 2,524 people who want a strike are that stupid!!!

The New York Post’s “Page Six,” one of the best sources for gossip-gossip-gossip, reports that Oprah Winfrey “might be house hunting” in Washington, D.C. so she can be closer to her new crush, President elect Barack Obama.

The media powerhouse inquired about a $50 million, nine-bedroom mansion in Georgetown, but hasn't had a chance to look at it yet. Umm, plenty of room for Gail and co to hang out.

Don’t you think Gail should write a book on the fine art of being a “kept woman?”

TINA FEY is a comedic genius, this is yadacity's opinion and we are sticking to it! I can’t believe the suits @ NBC-Universal were thinking about pulling the plug on ’30 Rock,' a season ago.

’30 Rock’ is so good, the writing is so tight, it even makes Tracy Morgan look funny and that is not an easy job. According to Contact Music, Diddy wants to cozy up to Fey.

Possible episode ideas to fit in Diddy’s unique talent:

Diddy hires the super organized page, Kenneth, as his new assistant. The '30 Rock' staff falls apart without Kenneth and a plan is “hatched,” to get him back.

Liz Lemon is bullied into being a “big sister” as part of Diddy’s new, not-for-profit organization: GIVE A KID A CHANCE program. She is stuck with a merciless young genius. Of course, Jack loves the little ruthless -leader-in- training, and tries to make her the youngest, V.P. in the history of the company. Danny Boyle On India is now on youtube, he directed one of my indie fav films, “Slumdog Millionaire.”

In the youtube piece, Danny says that “directors are control freaks.” His words, not from yadacity. The truth of it, as our team believes, is that directors want to be a control freaks but the organic nature of making a movie changes you, challenges you and in the process, most good directors find something lush and different.

1. All valuables of the uber rich, ARE VERY insured. In fact, getting them stolen is a ++ . In terms of jewelry, these items are OFTEN duplicated to wear on special occasions and the real deal (the real rocks – because that is what they are – rocks from the dirt-ground) is secured in a HIGH TECH lock down.

2. Paris, who is sooo smart, is just trying to jump start her image for 2008. This is one smart lady! Laugh all you want but she has the last laugh, and that tune is all the way to the bank!

Tyler Perry is a genius yall! Perry is printing money. Yadacity respects this man’s vision and utter understanding of what his market wants and needs.

Hint: the trailer is awful. You should use a person of colors’ voice to narrate. The very white sounding-male voice for MADEA GOES TO JAIL throws off the tempo. KEEP it real, what is Lion’s Gate going to say to you but “Yes Sir, Mr. Perry.”
