MGM is going old school and going new school with the remake of FAME.

The official trailer is on the Web and yadacity suggests you watch it!

The new FAME, which opens in the fall, is a reinvention of the original Oscar-winning hit film. FAME follows a talented group of dancers, singers, actors and artists over four years at the New York City High School of Performing Arts, a wildly diverse, creative powerhouse where students are given a chance to live out their dreams and achieve real and lasting fame.

The cast includes Asher Book as Marco, Kristy Flores as Rosie, Paul Iacono as Neil, Paul McGill as Kevin, Naturi Naughton as Denise, Kay Panabaker as Jenny, Kherington Payne as Alice, Collins Pennie as Malik, Walter Perez as Victor and Anna Maria Perez de Tagle as Joy.

Variety spills the beans that Queen Latifah will be swapping spit and getting cozy with rapper/ actor Common in the romantic film JUST RIGHT.

The Fox Searchlight will be directed by Sanaa Hamri, whose previous films THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS 2'with America Ferrara.

In a bizarre twist that not even Sacha Baron Cohen could not create and that no publicist anywhere can ever duplicate, the Thursday red carpet event for BRUNO covered up Michael Jackson’s star on the Hollywood walk of fame.

Dedicated and grieving fans found and used local radio host, Michael Jackson’s star and tears and songs followed.

Wait, there is more! The studio, NBC-UNIVERSAL, in a last minute edit removed a hilarious but tasteless scene, in lieu of Mr. Jackson’s death, just in yadacity time, for it’s Hollywood premiere.

The scene: LaToya Jackson in Bruno’s chic LA apartment – after getting her to sit on his “chairs” – which are Mexican workers bending over – who then serve her sushi of the hairy body of a naked man. Bruno then steals her cell phone so that he can get Michael Jackson’s cell number.

Wait, there is more. Gay and Lesbian groups don’t like how BRUNO depicts gay men. The rainbow children on the street, however, think its “verryyyyy Bruno.” That’s yadacity speak for “veryyyyyy Bruno.”

CHRISTIAN VINCENT just landed a role on the hit show FRINGE. He plays a man good with a knife, a surgeon.

The indie film, about to be a giant, production company BROOKLYN REPTYLE FILMS (BRF) is a multi-media production company whose primary goal is to create compelling films, television, and Internet content as well as commercials, music videos, trailers and behind-the-scenes footage for DVD releases.

THE MANDALA MAKER

The Mandala Maker began its festival run by garnering six nominations - by far the most of any film - and one major win at the 2009 SINY Film Festival from June 4-7 in Staten Island, New York.

Among the nominations for Mandala were, Best Dramatic Short (Producer Sam Borowski), Best Short Screenplay (Sam Borowski and Gregory Nissen), Best Director (Sam Borowski), Best Cinematography (Bill Schweikart) and Best Actress (Courtney Hogan).

Because of its late completion date, voting was based on the submitted rough-cut of the film, although it screened in a finished, polished version. After playing to two nearly sold-out screenings in New York, the film has already been accepted into the Central Florida Film Festival, which begins on September 4, and has been entered in no fewer than seven Academy-Award eligible festivals for the late summer and early Fall.

Cited by the Staten Island Advance as, "a major contender," for the Oscar for best live action short in 2010 - and don't forget that Yadacity recognized this film's merits, pointing out that it is indeed on the fast track for the 2010 Oscars several months back - the awards for this film have only just begun.
