LA's ultimate trendsetter Kevin Rouse who is the rockin' CEO of Personal Touch Entertainment, is teaming up with his pals at Angeltown Productions and Jazzmyne Public Relations, to launch "Live on Wilshire"
at Opus every Wednesday evening, beginning May 6, 2009.

What is "Live on Wilshire?"Good question. Here is the yadacity answer:

It will capture the rhythm and the blues, the syncopated beat of all that jazz and the heat of Hollywood when celebrities, musicians, poets, comedians, industry tastemakers and partygoers converge for a night of fine dining, networking and entertainment on Wilshire Boulevard at the corner of Western Avenue.

KAL PENN IN THE WHITE HOUSE

Big Yadacity shout out to Kalpen Modi -- Hollywood street name KAL PENN for strolling all the way to the White House. The "White House" y'all!

Why, Mr. Modi is one of the lucky ones, he has a job and the President of the United States (and the tax payers of this fair land) is his boss!

The White House has hired actor Kal Penn, Kalpen Modi, as a liaison between President Barack Obama's administration and Asian constituents. White House spokesman Shin Inouye said Tuesday that the actor who had a recurring role on Fox's TV show "House" (FYI, his character died on HOUSE) and has starred in several movies would join the staff as an associate director in the Office of Public Liaison.

His role will be to connect Obama with the Asian-American and Pacific Islander communities, as well as arts groups.

Connect away Mr. Modi, connect away! This is just one more reason we love our President!

Modi backed Obama during his campagain. His base salary is not as large as working on films or televison (average $41 to $91K a year) but he gets to play with the new White House puppy and travel in Air Force One. It's a good trade.

Michelle Obama and The Queen of England bff's?

During the G20 summit here in London last week Mrs Obama was just as busy as her husband as she became the darling of high society. Michelle was shown around the capital by the Prime Minister's wife Sarah Brown and attended school productions, hospitals and fancy dinners in her honour.

While meeting the Queen, Mrs Obama broke with protocol and gave her a squeeze! The Queen responded by placing her arm around Michelle and chatted away to her like they were old chums. Michelle's charm, grace and chic fashion sence has been the talk of the town and it seems the handsome couple are gaining more popularity around the world by the minute.
