Anthony Alessandro will be walking on the stage in a new comedy --Centennial Casting, written by Gino Di Iorio and Nancy Bleemer, directed by Frank Licato. A comedy about perception, deception and how far you would go for love...

The late Shelly Winters (in the New York Times review of the play A HAT FULL OF RAIN compared Alessandro's talent to the level of Academy Award winner Al Pacino. yadacity rainbow agrees this is one brilliant talent.

Details on the play are below.

Fountain Productions presents Centennial Casting, written by Gino Di Iorio and Nancy Bleemer, directed by Frank Licato, starring Al Sapienza from The Sopranos with Anthony Alessandro, Alicia Harding, Howard Kaye and Maryann Towne.

For Vincent Didonato, the family’s metal casting shop holds only bolts and nuts. Including the ones he works with. Then a series of photos from lovely New York actresses mistakenly start pouring into his office and he finds one hopeful blonde too irresistible to let slip away. A mad cap plot is hatched when he sets up a fake “casting” for a fictitious film. A hilarious double life begins as show business and sheet metal collide. A clever new comedy that proves sometimes sparks fly in the most unexpected places. A special limited run opens June 11th at 8:00 PM at The Arclight Theater 154 West 71st Street. June 11th through June 27th.
Wednesday to Saturday at 8:00 PM. Sunday at 3 PM. Monday Eve at 7:00 PM.
Tickets sold through Smarttix: Centennial Casting Tickets

A wonderful production and excellent acting. Unfortunately not listed with Theater Mania or any of the other traditional venues so hard to post reviews or let people know about a show well worth seeing.
