HOLLYWOOD BUZZ BABY

YADACITY BUZZ in HOLLYWOOD

CROWE MAKES MILLIONS
The Crowe, as in Russell, will get millions for his next film in “The Next Three Days.” The flick is an adaptation of the 2008 French film “Pour Elle.” It reunites Lionsgate with its “Crash” director Paul Haggis.
Yadacity smells a good film – not too good boys, people prefer “junk” instead of quality. You have our yadacity $10 bucks!

LIKE FINE WINE
Diane Keaton, who gets better looking every day--go on with your yadacity bad self, ---is attached to star in a series project, currently in development, for HBO. The production company is Grady Twins Prods., a new shingle by helmed by TV vets Marti Noxon (”Buffy the Vampire Slayer”) and Dawn Parouse Olmstead (”Prison Break”).
Yadacity side note, the hard working duo is also working with helmer Guillermo del Toro and author Chuck Hogan on a small screen adaptation of their book trilogy “The Strain.” Wow.

MINTING PAPER
This is just a money making machine. Gosh darn, it’s almost illegal. Go on with your yadacity bad self NBC-UNI.

Steve Carell’s production company, Carousel Television, has tapped “House” creator-exec producer David Shore to shepherd a remix of the classic 1974-80 gumshoe dramas. Wait, there is yadacity more.
Carell’s company will have Stephen J. Cannell on the map as a writer-producer. MINTING MONEY!

FALL INTO OBLIVION
Radical Pictures is pure yadacity. Next project, director Joseph Kosinski is developing “Oblivion,” based on his own concept.
Locked and signed, Kosinski will direct the action feature and will produce along with Radical principal Barry Levine, filmmaker David Fincher and Anonymous Content’s David Morrison.
The story centers on a battle-damaged soldier who, assigned to a desolate planet after a court-martial, patrols the bleak landscape in an effort to destroy the last vestiges of a” primitive” alien race. Yadacity question: is that the third rock from the sun?

When a mysterious traveler arrives unexpectedly, their lives become inextricably linked as they are forced to question everything they know about “this” world and themselves.

BEAUTY AND BRAINS IS MS. TRACEY
The very beautiful and very smart, Tracey Edmonds is set to produce the film “Trust in Her.” Her new company is Our Stories Films shingle.

The film is a multistoried character drama about three men struggling with the women in their lives who cross paths one eventful night in New York.

Good luck on understanding women, yadacity ha-ha!

The Gersh Agency’s new financing/packaging division, run by Jay Cohen (”Bride Wars”), will handle the project. That means that the project is in good hands. Very yadacity!
