Q: Your latest project is Karma: Crime, Passion, Reincarnation, which explores the complexity of murder, and reincarnation. What was the inspiration for telling this story?

A: Reincarnation is gaining more and more acceptance globally and I thought it would be interesting to write a murder story against this backdrop.


Q. Have you ever had a similar experience?

A: Not personally but I have come across many people who have .


Q: What is the flavor of Bollywood films, circa 2009, for young film lovers and filmmakers?

A: Bollywood filmmakers are the eternal optimists. We make films about hope and glory and goodness amidst the chaos and terror that we live in.


Q: Name two of the up&coming actresses and two of the top up&coming actors on the Bollywood horizon.

A: The two actors I would pick are Neil Nitin Mukesh and Abhay Deol and the two actresses are Kangana Ranaut and Hansika .


Q: What's the best "quote" from the many reviews of your film that sums up the movie completely.
