Dear Alan and Sag Board:

Notice, this “possible strike” is not a movie, mow, pilot, new series. This is real life. There are no third act turn-arounds. There are no “cut,” and go again. SAG's reckless actions can have hard working people fall into ruin. This is not a movie. You cannot re-wind, fast forward or go to the extras.

Stop. Look. Listen. Can you hear? Ok, can you listen? Stop it! Stop having a Palin moment and feel and hear the cries of a nation that is in trouble. Here is what will happen if people do not stand up for justice:

The rich will become wealthy. The wealthy will continue to rule the world without compassion or regard to the basic needs of others. The middle class will go broke and the broke, will become dangerous.

I am not being dramatic. Do you read or listen to world news? A small group of pirates are holding a massive oil tanker hostage for millions of dollars ransom. It does not take many to beat down the doors, just the motivated. Poverty can stimulate. Poverty does motivate.

So, stop “acting” as if you care about “your members” and remember, this is not a test—this is life—play like you mean it.
