HEADLINE NEWS:
THE SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION HAS INVITED "A SINGLE WOMAN" TO SCREEN ON JANUARY 17TH, 2009 IN WASHINGTON D.C.
The Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery is having a major exhibition called "Women of Our Time" which includes a portrait of Rep. Jeannette Rankin; the subject of the film "A Single Woman." They have asked to include the film and a conversation with the director in their public programming for the exhibition.
IN OTHER NEWS: The schedule for the Santa Fe Film Festival has been released. The festival will open with Steven Soderbergh's "Che" starring Benicio Del Toro and close with John Patrick Shanley's "Doubt" starring Meryl Streep and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
The festival screenings of "A Single Woman" are as follows:
Friday December 5th at 1:30pm at the DeVargas Cinema 2
Sunday December 7th at 6pm at the DeVargas Cinema 2
