Duff makes the Peacock Pay!
Hilary Duff, who was given life by Disney in "Lizzie McGuire," has left the mouse-house for the Peacock (NBC-Universal).
Now a fresh faced, 21-year-old with some real life experience, her reps inked a one-year development deal with the mighty Peacock net.
Variety states that NBC’s VP, Teri Weinbert calls Duff's "huge following" as one of the star’s true assets for success in television. Translation: it was a no-brainer.
A young mogul in the making, Duff’s career in music and film makes her a safe bet for the tween & teen market, at least for the next five years --- if they push it right.
Her new besty should be the Olsen twins. Paris H inherited it. The Olsen twins earned it!
Duff – it is never too early to start a charity. People need help – and helping is cool!
