Yadacity Q&A with Ron Fallica

Q: Tell me, word on the yadacity vine is that you, and your lovely wife, Allie stayed up 30 hours (straight) to finish the project. What are two, creative, hardworking people trying to do in Hollywood -- make the rest of us look bad?

A: Well, we are actors in LA, which means we also work in the food business so we are able to pay rent! We worked a catering party on a Saturday afternoon. We started at about two o’clock and finished there at about twelve thirty in the morning to rush home and shower and be on set by three o’clock in the morning. We didn’t rap until about twelve thirty the next day.

Q: As an indie filmmaker team, what are three lessons' that you learned in making "amongst friends" come alive?

A: Be prepared. Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong and whatever you don’t think of will go wrong as well.
2) Have a positive attitude about everything. If you have a positive attitude then everyone else has a positive attitude. You don’t want to have an unhappy set.
3) Have fun!!

Q: What does friendship mean to you? What made you want to write "amongst friends?"

A: I’m an Italian kid from NY so friendship means a lot to me.
“amongst friends” is very special. I wrote it with a certain subject in mind and I wanted people to be able to watch the film and have their own interpretation.

Q: When the big turks of Hollywood 'come a knocking' what mantra will you and your wife, Allie, say to keep your solid-honest foundation in tact? Chile' remember Michael Jackson?!

A: Always remember where you came from.
