Columbia is going to hit a home run on food!
COLUMBIA PICTURES is going to hit it “out of the park” with the new film “Julie & Julia.”
The trailer makes our staff hungry. So, a Yadacity suggestion, don’t go to enjoy this film (August 7th) hungry.
I suggest creating a lovely dinner party (before or after going to the film) and when it's over start thinking about making this the "go to gift" when the film is available on dvd-blueray. Ummm, might we suggest making the gift complete a copy of Julia Child’s first book?
The story synopsis is below:
“Julie & Julia.”
Julia Child (played by the great artist Meryl Street) and Julie Powell, (played by the amazing and growing into her artistic skin) Amy Adams are featured in writer-director Nora Ephron's adaptation of two bestselling memoirs: Powell's Julie & Julia and My Life in France, by Julia Child with Alex Prud'homme.
Based on two true stories, Julie & Julia intertwines the lives of two women who, though separated by time and space, are both at loose ends...until they discover that with the right combination of passion, fearlessness and butter, anything is possible.
The film opens August 7th so read the book before hand and enjoy. http://www.julieandjulia.com/
A yadacity find -- if you are in Studio City, CA -- go to ARTISAN CHEESE GALLERY (www.artisancheesegallery.wordpress.com) - 818. 505. 0207. The owners, a couple married for 50 years and counting, are lovely. Tell Melony that the “pickle lady” sent you.”
Life is just amazing especially with good cheese, the perfect wine, real love and butter, butter, butter?
