'Slumdog' Children Are Still Living in Squalor


The staff of yadacity loves SLUMDOG and has been on the "yada tip" long before the awards. Plus the director, Danny Boyle is just brilliant. But BIG BIZ can’t slap down and roll over on the “little people.”

Heads up, yadacity news flash, we are all little people in the end: ashes to ashes, dust-to-dust.

So, here is a yadacity’s suggestion to make it right for the Slumdog kids:

1. Sent up a monthly fund to help the two children get out of the slums and get a solid education.

2. Send the family every piece of swag that your team has received (from all the events, etc.) Why: The family can sell it, and please don’t send those items by federal express, they will never see it. Take a trip or send an assistant; I bet dollars to donuts that Air India or Virgin American will work with you in this effort. Also "knock-knock" on the India tourist board door ---

3. Help their families get a decent apartment/dwelling outside of the slums.

If you can’t do this or don’t know how to start, call Sting, Bono, Brad, Angelina or George. They know how to help people in need.
