I was chatting with well know and respected line producer and recommended that he go to THE SECRET LIFE OF BEES, which opens this Friday. He was discussing how, now that his daughter is a teenager, that finding interesting entertainment choices is hard work.
You remember the teenage years; we know all the answers but none of the questions! After I broke down the key elements of what this book and movie was really about, he sent a text to his daughter. Hopefully, they will make it an all-family affair.
In the end (and it does end my friends) all you have is family. Not just the family you were born with but the family you make along the way.
This is a great film and I am told (and told and told and told) a must have novel by Sue Monk Kidd.
