Q: How is lesbian life in Japan-Asia?

A: Asia is a big place. Japan has clubs and pockets of communities - very fragmented. A lot of the *action*, *exchange* happens online
these days - very different from *my days* when I first came out in the early 90s.

Q: What is the first restaurant you will hit in Canada?

A: Vancouver, to be precise. Depends if I'm PMS-ing or not. If I am, I crave for Asian food so it would be Congee Noodle. Yes, that's the name of the restaurant. If not - Elbow Room. I love the west coast style breakfast and brunch there. Not exactly elbow-to-elbow, but small and cozy. Attitude is also their specialty. It's run by a bunch of queens.

Q: At your wedding you will wear, what?

A: Depends on the season. But probably a funky goth-like suit in true Japanese gothic fashion. Minus the make-up. Not my style.

Q: Last meal on the "third rock from the sun" would be?

A: Definitely *real* sushi.

Mauro for having the strength of owning his art and understanding others. Barry for having the strength to show heartbreak and truth—a messy business. Robert for having the strength to bring humor into a spectrum, of so many small colors, it makes you weak at the knees. Christian, I did not see “The White Ribbon,” which bothers our team and we will take care of this over the week.
