Bobby “You Looking At Me?”is going to work in Mumbai.
That is what the Bollywood “gossip vine” is buzzing about. It seems that director, Paul Schrader has been visiting the hustle-bustle of urban Mumbai with an eye to shoot a film with A level stars from Hollywood and Bollywood in the Spring of ’09.
I am all about international collaborations, understanding, good will and great curry but what happened, recently, in Mumbai made Yada City a bit scared!
I am not the only one afraid of the nuts running around the world, killing people in the name of “GOD?”
Actress Ayesha Takia was supposed to wed restaurateur Farhan Azmi on Christmas Eve but her wedding has now been postponed to mid-2009. All this thanks to the terror attacks in Mumbai.

DONNY OSMOND loves his GAY FRIENDS?!
LITTLE DONNY OSMOND supports GAYS?
The hot button topic of gay marriage has been much discussed in Hollywood, a place so gay it makes Disney Land look conservative.
Since the totally UNFAIR passing of Proposition 8 in November may stars have “come out” to make a point? You do not have to agree with what another person does (or does not do) behind close doors! You do, however, have to stand up and demand equality for all. It is so simple and people are so ignorant – how ignorant? They make Palin look very smart!
Reported on Donny Osmond’s blog he writes:
"Some of my best friends are gay... I do support our Church leaders who say that we can accept those with gay tendencies in our church as long as they do not act upon their temptations. Everyone has tendencies to succumb to temptation... Whether we may be tempted to be immoral with members of our own sex or of the opposite sex, we are expected to live chaste lives."
"I am not a judge and I will never judge anyone for the decisions they make unless they are causing harm to another individual. I love my friends, including my gay friends. We are all God's children. It is their choice, not mine on how they conduct their lives and choose to live the commandments according to the dictates of their own conscience."
Honey, they used the same jargon about Women when they were fighting to vote and for equal rights. They used the same jargon about African-Americans and supported slavery for years based on the Bible.
This is not puppy love Donny, it is just love. Vote for Equality For All.

INDIE SPIRIT SNUBS SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE
Yada City has spokenSpirit Award nominees announced
The tiny films that need Hollywood love and major swag just got a needed push in the 2009 Spirit Award nominations! Clearly, this award is one of the brightest parties in the “award season.”
The indie flicks “Rachel Getting Married,” “Ballast” and “Frozen River” led the field with six nominations each including best feature and director (Jonathan Demme, Lance Hammer and Courtney Hunt, respectively.)
Dawn Hudson, a brilliant mind and friend of filmmakers went back to her roots, she went “old school yall.”
As reported in Daily Variety, Ms. Hudson is quoted thusly: “There was a writers strike, a tough economy, and the specialty distributors have faded or shrunk. In a way, it was a great year for new filmmakers.”
Gus Van Sant’s “Milk” failed to earn noms for director or picture but don’t cry over “spilled milk,” he will get the big boy nom – The Academy Award – and BAFTA!
Also left out was Fox Searchlight’s hit “Slumdog Millionaire.” The U.K. production was ineligible for best film since its financing came from outside the States, but its absence from the foreign pic list had some scratching their heads. I AM DONE. IF YOU PEOPLE WILL NOT GO TO SEE THIS FILM, YOU SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO GET A GOOD CURRY!
Goggle the rest of the nominations and then take a nice, long bath and watch the last two episodes of BOSTON LEGAL on line. It is good, I know ……it really is!!!!

Just check out Page Six ...... that is in The New York Post!
Mega Star to go to college to study the stars?
A Yada City Exclusive: What major international mega-watt movie star (one of our favs) is going to give an exclusive screening at one of California's top-top college where being an "egg head," is a requirement?
Hint, this college brass has the ability to predict unusual weather patterns and are often quoted about the shaking of mother earth. Hint, this mega-watt star is just as complicated as any matrix.
The day --- Yada City will not spill!

SAG AWARDS but can we give Pres. a time out?!
Yada City loves Actors. We admire and respect them and enjoy them. What most in the biz, and beyond do not want to see is a strike. ALAN ROSENBERG is so out of touch with reality and what other people that work in the biz needs, he is in a constant PALIN state. I can not believe that anyone who can read a newspaper, count and chew gum at the same time would follow this man into a war that everyone will lose. You will lose the battle. You will lose the war. If the American public knew the amount of money an actor makes to appear on screen, they would never stop throwing up.
